When I realized I spend at least a 3rd of my life at my desk, I knew it's time for a change. A change for a dream setup. Inspiring. Motivating. One that truly works for me. I want to feel excited to start working.
The workspace has been through so many iterations. Starting with a small white desk and a monitor. I tried up to 4 monitors and also went for ultrawide at some point. Ultimately, the sweet spot for me was 3 monitors. I don't loose my mouse, windows are manageable and I can screen share a full screen that is readable by others.
After a while I bought all kinds of lights to help with the vibe and with lighting up my face. However they all are different and don't play well together. So I built these 4 lightbars and a smart dial to control them. It helps with the mood and lights me up when I'm on calls or when I'm recording professional videos.
